Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “bayağı sindirilebilirler”) tanımlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine ilişkilanmasıyla oluşan kısa polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit sözıntısı ile öbürü arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok adetda polipeptit zir birimi çitndırır). üs üstelik peptitlerin kısa, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi sırasında her amino asit, vesair amino asite temelli, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle ilişkilanır. Polipeptid konstrüksiyonsına merhametsizlan amino asitlerin her biri konstrüksiyonya peptid ilişkilarıyla ilişkilanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu sırasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir sutaş çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Ortalama bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Malum en uzun polipeptit, takribî 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda mevcut “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine merhametsizlan amino asitlere sözıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki sözıntı, bağ yapmamış, azade amino grubu çitndırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin vesair ucundaki azade α-karboksil grubu olan sözıntıevet C ucu adı verilir.
